Android head Andy Rubin broke the news that there are more than 450,000 available applications
on the Android Market recently, and with so many apps out there
developers need the best statistics tools to keep track of how well
their creations are doing. Google sees that and has now brought new
statistics for Android appications.
Application Statistics
is a set of dashboards in the Developer Console on the market that
gives you information about your app: countries where it was installed,
Android versions, device models and various other stats.
The most important
novelty is the option to see installation by unique users and unique
devices. You get to see active installs, total installs, and daily
installs and uninstalls. Moreover, Google has added a timeline feature
so you can see how stats evolve over time.
Finally,
the whole stats page is redesigned - every significant metric in its
own tab. Hit the source link below to see more about it, and log in with
your developer’s account to try it out.
